Look at Mathematics, full of the numbers.
There is even numbers and there is odd numbers.
Full of my days is talking about them.
Even, odd numbers there are real numbers

Reflection of Mathematical Content
After that, Mr. Marsigit showed mathematical content for us. There were four content. The content were Derivative, Limit by inspection, Integer and angle.
The first content was about derivative :
In Calculus, a branch of mathematics, the derivative is a measure of how a function changes as its input changes.
We must learn about Derivative notation before we will learn about derivative.
The derivative is f prim of x slashy dot thing = f’(x) or y’ or dy/dx.
Derivative is slope of tangent line at point (x, f(x)) ((x+h),f(x+h)), h is change of x.Then Slope is (change in y)/(change of x)=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)= raise/run
Definition of derivative
F’(x)= lim h→0 (f(x+h)-f(x))/h
But, there is an easy formula of deritative :
f(x)= x^n
f’(x)= n.x^n-1

Math song reflection
Monday, March 19th, 2012 at D.01.105. My class, Mathematics education 2011 met again with My English Lecturer, Mr.Marsigit. At the moment, He gave us a different way to love Mathematics. He showed his collection of Math Song in front of my class. Then he told us,”How to employ VTR,to learn English for Mathematics Education by making the reflection.” I thought he always have a unique way to make us love mathematics more and more ^^ *two thumbs for him* b(^.^)d
First, he showed a video of two man sing math song in area of university. The title of the song is “What you know about Math.” The lyric of the song were :

What you know about math?
What you know about math?
What you know about math?
Hey, don’t you know I represent Math League
when I add shorty subtract
Freshmen backpack where I’m holding all my work at
What you know about math?

What you know about math?
I know all about math

Mathematical Thinking at Monday Morning
Name : Ika Dewi Fitria Maharani
Mathematics Education 2011
NIM : 11301241009
This Monday morning (March 12th, 2012 : 09.00 am) my class, Mathematics education 2011 got the lesson from My English lecture, Mr. Marsigit. He is a great and funny lecture. He always have various way to teach english, and the way of teach make english more interesting I think. The day he teach about Mathematical Thinking (Shigeo Katagiri, 2004). Then he wrote in white board. This is my note from him ^_^
Mathematical thinking are :
1.Mathematical Attitude
2.Mathematical Method
3.Mathematical Content
Then he wrote in white board. This is my note from him ^_^
1. Mathematical Attitude
It is different with attitude toward mathematics
Mathematics attitude They are more specific
Attitude toward Mathematics They are more general (every people had been heard of about mathematics)
Example :
a. Curiousity of math problems
b. Willingness to ask about mathematics problems

Report of Stadium General with Prof. Mohan Chinnapan, PhD
Name : Ika Dewi Fitria Maharani

at Seminar room D.07.209 FMIPA UNY
Monday, March 12th, 2012 : 01.00 pm
The day was different from the other day before, it was a special day. Because at the day on Monday afternoon the mathematics education`s major was having an important schedule, it was a General Stadium with Prof. Mohan Chinnapan,PhD from Australia. I was very happy because I could learn everything about mathematics from the australian lecturerr, it was a special moment I got I thought. ^_^
The General Stadium started at 01.00 pm in seminar room D.07.209 FMIPA UNY. We waited Prof Mohan. Then he came with my english lecturer, Dr. Marsigit. M.A, he was as moderator. The event started with introduction from Mr. Marsigit then Mr. Mohan. I was so suprised, because Prof. Mohan is a Moslem. He told he was a hindu but he was change to be a moslem. Then he told us about Mathematical thinking. He said Mathematical thinking consist of :
1. Mathematical Attitude
2. Mathematical Method
3. Mathematical Content
Then my lecturer, Mr Marsigit said that he was teaching about it to my class, Mathematics eduation 2011 act 09.00 am. My lecturer was happy because he and Prof Mohan had same thinking. ^.^

Colourful Life with Mathematics ^^
Name : Ika Dewi Fitria Maharani

1. Describe the types of the following triangles in term of the measure of their angles.
Page 281 at Marsigit`s book class 1
SOLUTION :
a. Look at picture 1.a in Page 281 at Marsigit`s book class 1
We can see the triangle that containing exactly one 90 degrees (we can call it right angle). The other two angles must be total exactly 90 degrees.
Example : The other two angles are 45 degrees or the one angle is 60 degrees and the other angle is 30 degrees. It is up to us, but the other two angle must be total exactly 90 degrees
We have to know why it must be total exactly 90 degrees!
Because if we calculate all the angles at triangle, it must be total exactly 180 degrees.
Finally, we call the triangle is right triangle because one of their angles is right.
b. Look at the picture 1.b in Page 281 at Marsigit`s book class 1
We can see the triangle contains one angle that is greater than 90 degrees (we can call it obtuse angle) and the other two angles must be total less than 90 degrees.
Why? Because total of the three angles must be exactly 180 degrees.
Finally, we call the triangle is obtuse triangle because one of the angles is obtuse and the two uf angles are less than 90 degrees.
